National Gallery of Art – Little Beasts

What happens when centuries-old scientific sketches start to move? For the exhibition Little Beasts: Art, Wonder, and the Natural World, we created two playful films that bring these delicate drawings to life.

One film follows insects crawling out of the page, reminding us of the strange beauty in every tiny creature. The other captures the timeless search of moths drawn to a flickering light — a simple, mesmerizing dance of nature that has fascinated humans for centuries.

Each short film was crafted for social media, designed to spark attention and wonder without a single logo or call to action. They are fleeting moments of magic, buzzing and glowing on your feed.
