National Gallery of Art – Sargent and Spain

AI is great for content creation and we can prove it.

We were able to explore the full technical and artistic capabilities that the AI tool had to offer.

Our first use of AI was for the video exhibit ‘Sargent and Spain’, commissioned by the National Gallery of Art.

We had the fortune of creating four films for this campaign celebrating John Singer Sargent, one of the greatest portraitists of his time.

Through text and code, we painted frame by frame and created camera movements that really made the painting dance. Stable Diffusion was used to place painted female figures to dance to the rhythm of Flamenco.

In partnership with director Felipe Machado, we created videos with a unique language, visually different from animation.

The finished product shows the tool’s amazing potential, which further enables everyone to explore animation and computer-generated graphics with extreme ease and amazing results.
